Douglas Vanasselstine
Douglas has an imagination and ability to create that can rival some of the best in the arts.
His uncanny ability to pull out specific traits and features when working on a portrait brings a unique quality to his work.
There hasn't been a time in his life when art didn't play a vital role. Doug has started galleries from the ground up featuring not only his own works, but the works of other well-respected artists.
He has set up shop at the Kingston Shopping Centre, Frontenac Mall, Kensington Market, the Picton Market, and has attended a copious amount of events.
The goal with his art is to connect with people and provide them with precious memories, or memorable pieces of work that they can display proudly.
He is the proud father of a smart, talented, and artistic son of 9-years-old and everything Doug does with his art, and in his life, is to support and to enrich the child’s life.

Christina is an 11-year award winning radio veteran from Ottawa, former radio morning co-host, news anchor, and reporter. Her time in radio lead to a multitude of skills ranging from video and audio editing, voiceover work, writing, marketing, promotions, organizing major events, and MC’ing, among others. She was the recipient of the National Rogers Communications top CEO Award for her community service and involvement, and national coverage during a major forest fire (Timmins 9, 2012).
Preceding radio, she has cooked in kitchens, driven taxi, worked in customer service, inbound call centers. and has worn many different hats… All while struggling with a debilitating depression.
At the age of 32, she has a new lease on life and is using the forward momentum to propel herself into the world of business and entrepreneurship.
Her interests include: Photography, Mental Health issues, awareness and advocacy, philosophy, reading and learning about the science behind different human behaviours, among many other things.
Managing Vanasselstine Designs, Christina joins Doug on this exciting new adventure. Together they form a dynamic, professional team to provide you with one of a kind, custom art.
